The future is already formulated
There is barely discovered truths
The words are scattered everywhere
Can we collect them and
create an overall picture?
The good society (1-5)
Keep an eye on (6-7)
The road to the good society (8-10)
4 future scenarios

The good society
We are looking for a picture of –Society we strive for.
We must piece this together based on 5 politically globally established goals.
They start from people’s rights and the needs of the environment to show us what society should look like in 2030.
Puzzle pieces 1-5 give us the basis for how the good society can be built.
The basis for the content of – THE GOOD SOCIETY

Now all the world’s politicians have stated the goal of how – The good society – should be designed. Consider that decision-makers all over the world have the ability to rise above all the contradictions of everyday life, approach and embrace enemies as well as friends,
and conclude joint agreements covering the future of all mankind.

Keep an eye on.
We have behaviors that we are characterized by and are also unaware of, which make it difficult to achieve joint solutions
Puzzle piece 6 – our inability to think new
Puzzle piece 7 – what we know/don’t know about ourselves
If we don’t understand ourselves, we lose the possibility of holistic solutions.

Puzzle piece 6:
We have all been marked in different ways, especially during our first years of life, when the brain develops the most.
This imprinting gives us our ”worldview”.
For almost all of us, this imprinting stays with us throughout our upbringing and the rest of our adult lives. It locks us into bubbles, corridors of opinion and makes many of us unconsciously defend ourselves against new thinking. A clear deficiency in general and especially in decision-making environments.
As a person, one must become aware of understanding one’s own obstacles and limitations and think and act beyond these, our so-called imprinting.
The reality of the family we were born into may have been violent, loving, religious, authoritarian, conflict-avoidant, compassionate, selfish, dysfunctional or had a clear political ideological orientation.
The relationship or ”atmosphere within the safety zone” took the child as ”this is how life works”. This imprinting almost always follows the child through the entire upbringing and into adulthood. It controls us and we follow along. Accept this about yourself and you can gain greater understanding and acceptance of other people’s opinions, thereby increasing the chance of working towards a common goal.

Puzzle piece 7
We can see ourselves in detail, if we stand in front of a mirror, and correct details we don’t like.
In collaborative situations, we should recognize that there are certain parts of our personality that are hidden to ourselves but visible to others. Unfortunately, we have to try to become aware of this in order to join in and create a common target image.
The model describes how openness in interpersonal communication increases when we are both clear and responsive to each other and decreases when we are not. Giving each other feedback is an important process in all collaboration. By being able to receive feedback, being responsive, I find out how others perceive me and my actions. By being able to be clear and expose myself, I give others the opportunity to gain knowledge about me. link
The way to the good society
Now that we know that our brain sometimes hinders rather than helps us to make the best of the opportunities offered in collaboration with others, we must think about how tasks and responsibilities should be distributed between research, politicians and the people
How should the good society be organized?
Is there a reason to change the structures and model?
Puzzle piece 8 The researchers are the ones responsible for knowledge
Puzzle piece 9 The politicians are the ones who decide
Puzzle piece 10 The people give the politicians their mission.

Who will decide the future of humanity? Is it obvious that politicians should have unlimited power without responsibility? How does democracy work? What is the role of researchers’ knowledge?

Then they must listen to you as often as possible.
How else are they supposed toKnowwhat you want
Politicians think about the country’s best?
Tells Politician
the truth?
Understand the politicians’ right decision?
Cooperation Is a higher goal than conflict.
Politicians must learn to discuss without locks.

Research and science are what can show us the best way into the future and also describe the consequences of previous decisions.
Politicians must listen to and cooperate with researchers.
It is in everyone’s interest to have as good a future as possible.
Research has been given less and less space in the decision-making process.
The economic elite has bought or coerced more and more of the political power.
One goal must be to give research a stronger position when the future is to be designed

The people – are a very important part of the process. We are the politicians’ clients and we guide their work.
They should listen to us not only every four years. Our task also includes giving advice and support to them.
All public power emanates from the people but are our options the best imaginable?
Are you important to the politicians? Do they want to know what you think between elections too?
Voters’ disdain for and distrust of politicians worldwide is constantly increasing.
Puzzle piece 8
The researcher
The largest research project carried out on the causes of injustice and which is generally accepted within the scientific community points to capitalism has a built-in mechanism that widens social divides and therefore must be regulated much more strictly.
Other decisive reasons are political decisions and the political ideologies.

Puzzle piece 9
Politicians
Politicians continue with their power play and do not see the good of the country, the people or humanity as their first priority.
The ideologies, with which they are imprinted, locks them down and makes it impossible for them to expand the field of vision beyond the blinders.
Our political structure does not favor long-termism either.

Puzzle piece 10
The people
The people – All public power emanates from the people. Basic Law, Form of Government 1KAP, § 1
The Democracy Investigation Submitted a proposal to the Government in 2016.
It emphasizes the importance of giving citizens greater influence and transparency in the political decision-making process between the ordinary elections.
There was a proposal about ”Folkmotion” (People exercise) which the Government did not forward to the Riksdag.
This ”Folkmotion” was one of the most important proposals for the development of democracy, in my opinion.

Concrete action list to reach the good society

A good society must have its basis in the values emphasized in the conventions on Human Rights, to Biodiversity and children’s Rights. Likewise, the 2030 Agenda and the Paris Agreement must be added to the basic conditions because they are based on the planet with all its life forms having the best living environments.
Priority one in the Western world in all decisions has been and is economic growth must an economic system, that are based on other values are introduced. No one should have to live below a reasonable standard of living and one should stay within the resources that the planet has to offer us (the planetary limits). No one should be treated differently.
The path towards a better future can only take place with the support of science and proven experience. Powerful and immediate efforts to counteract climate change must take place at once in a peaceful way and have no ties either to politics or religion.
Our only option is to change the outdated systems, economic, political and democratic, that control development today. Civil rights movements must be formed and these must receive such strong support that in public opinion they can challenge the existing parties for a change in the existing systems in the respective countries and globally.
A movement that gives its members a sense of security, trust and confidence by practically applying transparency, participation and co-determination in all activities.
This requires that we all try to absorb, accept and use new thoughts. A difficult task that you can come into contact with when we describe what must be done, how and why
Foundations for the good society – with the conviction that the best of the planet is our best.
In all decisions, all activities must be based on:
5 pillars
– 1- Human Rights
Almost all UN countries ratified the convention and at the same time promised to follow it. Different countries introduced different parts of it in their constitutions and have applied it in different ways over the years. The convention has thereby received strong criticism when, in fact, it is the countries’ sovereignty that has determined the application in their legislation.
– 2- Children’s Rights, some countries still have not ratified the convention, the USA e.g. Introduced as Swedish law on 1.1.2020
– 3- Biodiversity which includes all life forms in the same way.
The convention must lead to biological diversity being preserved and used in a sustainable way, while profits from the use of genetic resources are distributed in a fair way.
Sweden signed the convention in 1993, the same year it was adopted by the EU, and since 2010 has incorporated the convention’s goals into Sweden’s environmental goal work.
– 4 – Agenda 2030 Global goals – (also includes fighting climate change)
Contains all points of the three conventions but spread over most of the target areas
The world is working to change to an ecologically sustainable society by the year 2030.
Only a holistic view can provide sustainable solutions.
– 5- The Paris Agreement is the guideline that the countries of the world have committed to meet in order to keep climate change at a level that can provide a comfortable future.
To reach the situation we wish to live in, we must also introduce;
– 6- Donut Economics system with other starting points.(Both the Agenda’s sustainability goals and the vision for Commons are included in the model)..
– Reformulation of financial goals
Donut Economic Model shifts the emphasis away from GDP growth as the high-priority economic goal. Instead, it sets goals that prioritize human well-being and planetary health, which gives people the opportunity to have influence over the type of economy that serves their needs but also the local needs. – 7 – Generalities
-Elinor Ostrom, a political scientist at Indiana University, won the Nobel Prize in 2009 for her research proving the importance of commons around the world. Her work examining how societies work together to share resources goes to the heart of today’s debates about resource use, the public sphere and the future of the planet. She is the first woman to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics. read more here
– 8 – Citizens’ Forum
is a form of organization that can restore confidence that a transition to an ecologically sustainable society is possible. A movement that is based on trust and confidence and has a well-developed form of co-determination so that every member feels that transparency, participation and personal commitment can be put into practice. click here
– 9 – Research and proven experience
A) Research is key to unlocking the door to the future. Research stands for knowledge and facts.
here
B) proven experience
Many decisions made worldwide are not based on science and proven experience. Regardless of the type of board, this can be seen by the fact that the issue has to take a backseat to other interests. here
– 10 – Media
When sharing information and forming opinions, the support of the media is absolutely crucial.
Jim Skea, IPPC’s new chairman: ”Making sure that people feel they are part of the decision-making, that they understand what risks we can avoid, that’s absolutely crucial.”
An opinion can only be created if the media supports a project click here
FOUR FURURE SCENARIOOS
which depend on what we demand of our leaders
In his latest book, ”Four futures – Life after capitalism”, Peter Frase tackles the burning issue of climate change and how we should deal with it. He presents four different future scenarios, each with significant societal changes.
2 are possibly acceptable in The Good society
2 are disastrous in a Good society

Summary
Ideologies, political decisions and people’s characteristics and traits make us unable to make decisions that will lead us to a comfortable future.
The decisions that are required cannot be made by the politicians in practice.
In theory they have created these amazing global agreements and conventions that should be an absolute compulsion to include in all political decisions
Perhaps it should be regulated like the relationship between lender and borrower.
If a country takes decisions that do not fulfill these agreements, there will be restrictions on national sovereignty. Which body would be the supreme judge in the matter?
Only by seeing the whole in which we live and having the will to cooperate can the good world be built.
Conclusion
The goal must be to create a global movement that gives members a sense of security,
trust and confidence by practically applying transparency, participation and co-determination in all activities.
This should lead to the movement becoming so strong that it can change the state of opinion so that it is possible to upset the systems that today prevent progress. They block progress because they have their point of departure in social systems where injustice was a natural part.
Those who maintain the economic and political structures are receptive to their need to be re-created. The democratic system means a basis for splitting the citizens into different groupings and this is incompatible with solving the threatening boundless questions of destiny we face The economic system is also created on a weak scientific basis.
Changing the mindset in politics so that the decisions become more long-term and sustainable is possible and necessary. However, it requires that the target image is shared and that all the 10 puzzle pieces find their place in thought and action
Again – New Zealand could introduce new thinking about GDP.
Everyone else can too, but the lack of political will and commitment prevents the rest of us from going in the right direction
